OUTREMER 51' against the light.

The continuation of the good virtues in a contemporary design

A genuine generational leap in relation to the 50, the Outremer 51 benefits from the yard’s 25 years of experience in the construction of ocean cruising catamarans. It is also the fruit of feedback from 200 owners on their return from having sailed across all the seas of the globe aboard Outremer catamarans. More of an Outremer than ever before, it retains the strong style and the dynamic character of our catamarans: short pod and high on the water, reduced windage, dagger boards for a better course upwind and improved ability to hold a course downwind. Fast for pleasure and safety: a generous surface area, a light displacement.

„Yacht of the year 2010“

Simple to sail short-handed: ergonomic manoeuvres  ease of upkeep and maintenance. However the Outremer 51 is even more than that. It is a concentration of innovation and modernism. More vision: the Outremer 360° Vision concept provides uninterrupted views across the sea, whether you’re in the cockpit, the saloon or your cabin. More living space: the vast single level cockpit-saloon ensemble enables you to benefit from all the space provided by the pod, whatever the weather. More thrills: A steering wheel, two tillers! Whatever the point of sail or the wind strength, you will always find the ideal position to fully benefit from its exceptional performance. More comfort: revamped ergonomics, fittings and decoration by Franck Darnet Design.
