The foundations of LeBreton Yachts are a passion for sailing and integrity. The vision of the company is to combine the incredible advances in ocean-racing multihulls with modern design, to create very fast, very beautiful, but above all, fun, safe and usable yachts.
The SIG 45′ and 60′ designs from LeBreton Yachts are high-performance, short-handed, blue water cruising yachts. With the same signature style and pedigree as the ground-breaking SIG 45′ cruiser-racer, the elegant new 60′ yacht offers true live-aboard accommodation on a race boat derived platform.
Le Breton Yachts has developed the SIG 60′ with top multihull design firm Van Peteghem Lauriot Prevost (VPLP) and Adam Voorhees Design. VPLP has designed most of the world’s fastest sailing yachts, including Banque Populaire and BMW Oracle’s America’s Cup winner. Adam Voorhees, voted World Superyacht Young Designer 2010, worked on styling and interior design.
High speed and comfort
The SIG 60′ s virtually full beam coachroof gives her an unusually spacious saloon for a performance yacht, with a generous forward-facing dining area, navigation station/chart table, and a large day sofa. The galley is on a mezzanine floor in the port hull, ensuring that the chef can be fully involved in the social activities of the saloon. Four comfortable double cabins and three heads (including an en-suite for the master cabin aft) make for plentiful space for family and friends. The day bed can be used for unexpected guests or night watches.
Dimensions SIG 60′:
Strong, light and fast
With a carbon fibre structure and rig, the SIG 60′ will be one of the strongest, lightest and fastest cruising yachts on the market. VPLP’s uniquely rich experience of cruising and racing multihulls guarantees that the SIG 60′ will be a delight to sail, with effortless acceleration and light, highly responsive steering. Importantly, slender hulls and centred weights will give an incredibly smooth motion through a seaway, as so ably demonstrated by the SIG 45′.
SIG 60′ GT
The SIG 60′ is also available with an open cockpit layout, similar to SIG 45′. The SIG 60′ GT offers a vast guest cockpit separated from sailing cockpits and, thanks to weight and windage savings, extraordinary performance.
