Designed by renowned designer Francois Perus, the SC 55 boasts a revolutionary design with elegant and striking lines that are not only visually appealing but also promise exceptional sailing performance. The hydrodynamically optimized hull, combined with a high performance rig, daggerboards and a light construction of only 13.9 tonnes, guarantees unparalleled sailing characteristics.<\/p>\n

Unique in the multihull segment, the SC 55 is meticulously constructed using EPOXY\/CARBON, a unique quality that differs from the more commonly used polyester resins and ensures a superior osmosis resistance. The incorporation of structural carbon elements in the vacuum infusion process underlines the premium construction of the boat, using the highest quality materials for optimum weight reduction and increased hull rigidity.<\/p>\n

In a departure from conventional LAR keels, the SWISS 55 design introduces a variable draft from 1.25 to 2.85 meters, made possible by lowerable daggerboards.
