The Latest Model in the NEEL TRIMARANS Fleet
The NEEL 48 is the latest addition to the NEEL TRIMARANS range – developed in collaboration with renowned yacht designer Marc Lombard and Vendée Globe winner Yannick Bestaven.
She brings together the core values NEEL is known for – safety, performance, and liveaboard comfort – in a well-balanced and seaworthy 48-foot trimaran.
With her three-hull configuration and sandwich composite construction, the NEEL 48 is virtually unsinkable. Her impressive stability (with a capsize angle 40% greater than a typical catamaran) and multiple watertight bulkheads provide peace of mind in offshore conditions. At the same time, her light displacement, centralized weight, and generous sail area ensure spirited sailing with minimal heel and excellent efficiency over long distances.
Below deck, she offers an open-plan interior, including a spacious owner’s cabin on the main deck with direct access to the swim platform, and additional cabins in the outer hulls.
Compared to the NEEL 47, the outer hulls are now accessed directly from the saloon – improving both safety and comfort under way.
A limited “Yannick Bestaven Edition” is also available, featuring an exceptional equipment package as standard: lithium batteries, hydro-generator, 800W solar array, advanced Garmin electronics, and a watermaker – ready for extended cruising from day one.
The NEEL 48 is made for sailors who seek more than just comfort – she’s built to go far, fast, and with confidence.
