NEEL Trimarans has presented a new design: NEEL 52

After almost fifty NEEL 51 trimarans were handed over, the design was completely redeveloped by the Marc Lombard Design Office and redesigned in an owner-oriented direction. With significantly slimmer hull lines, Mark Lombard has drawn an elegant line and thus optimised the previous shape of the NEEL 51. The mould construction is completed and the first NEEL 52 is in production. We expect the presentation of the NEEL 52 N°1 as early as February 2023. The “soft opening” will be followed by a six-month test sail phase to which we invite not only the constructors, designers and boat builders, but also interested customers, in order to optimise the new NEEL design for series production with as many knowledgeable people as possible. For the first time, the NEEL 52 will be configurable with different layout variants, so that various equipment options can be realised depending on the customer’s wishes. A large saloon with kitchen island, four companionways into the outer hulls, a multi-purpose room and many other innovations can be realised in the new NEEL 52 design.

We are pleased about the further development of the successful NEEL 51 and will inform you about further information and first impressions of the NEEL 52 shortly.

Newly unveiled and already in hot demand: the new AVENTURA 45S is to join the fleet of the Tunisian AVENTURA shipyard from the end of 2023 and thus also replace her predecessor, the AVENTURA 44.

At the recent La Grande Motte International Multihull Show, the shipyard announced its new flagship for the first time. The French press was amazed when the first renderings and announcements about the catamaran, which can be equipped with up to six cabins, were presented during the Boat Show.📸

And just like her little sister, the AVENTURA 37, the 45S will become a floating feel-good home thanks to the impressive space utilisation concept that designer Samer Lasta has once again conjured up on the drawing board.👨🏻‍🎨

Without a doubt, the AVENTURA 45S will be one of the highlights on the multihull market in 2023 as a space miracle with excellent sailing performance.

Aventura boatyard tour

In March 2022 we visited the Aventura shipyard in Bizerte / Tunisia.

We welcomed customers on site, took several yard tours, were on board the new Aventura designs and had successful meetings with the Aventura team.

The Aventura shipyard has expanded their production with two more production buildings and new personnel. The building quality has convinced us once again and we are pleased with the development the Aventura shipyard has made in the last few years.

Aventura will present a new design this year.

We will be at the International Multihull Show 2022, which will take place from the 20th – 24th April 2022 in La Grande Motte.

The boot Düsseldorf will not take place in 2022!

Due to the ongoing pandemic, the boot Düsseldorf has now been cancelled for 2022. After many exhibitors have already decided against participating in this year’s boot Düsseldorf, the entire boat show will now officially not take place.

Nevertheless, we would like to offer you the opportunity to get in touch with us as personally as possible in these pandemic times. For this purpose, we offer you the possibility to talk to us about your desired multihull in the form of video calls.

World premiere of the AVENTURA 37 at the Cannes Yachting Festival

After some delays due to the pandemic, the French Aventura shipyard has launched its first Aventura 37 in Bizerte, Tunisia and presented it at the Cannes Boat Show 2021 on the Côte d’Azur.

The new Aventura 37 design closes the gap between the Aventura 34 and Aventura 44. With the recently announced Aventura 37, the shipyard is introducing a boat with a hull length of just 10.90 meters. The construction comes from the Lasta Design Studio and shows voluminous hull shapes that taper significantly to the waterline via striking edges, plus strikingly large windows in the freeboard. The position of the rig is conventional in front of the cabin superstructure. This means that the overlapping genoa with hole points on the cabin roof is the standard.

The first new Outremer 55, named Saga, completed several test trips after it dived into the water on November 10, 2020. She has already been voted “Multihull of the year” by the British Yachting Awards.

The happy owners will set sail with their Outremer 55 after the La Grande-Motte Multihull Boat Show and want to take part in the GLY World Odyssey from September 2021. Then it’s off on a world tour via the southern route!

Since 1997 already, every May an annual regatta-weekend, the OUTREMER-Cup takes place at La Grande Motte, on the French Mediterranean coast. A visit there, or even better, active participation offers a good chance to get the OUTREMER virus and latest information about the whole range and latest developments. On this occasion, the OUTREMER owners, who are around, gather for a get together, to compare their catamarans, materials and skills. The different OUTREMER designs, brand new or already thirty years afloat compete in a series of Races organized by the OUTREMER-Yard team and the Yacht Club of La Grande Motte.
At the OUTREMER CUP 2015 (the 30th. anniversary of the OUTREMER Yard) a total number of 16 catamarans between 40` and 59` did compete.

Beneath the sporty competition, the exchange of owner’s experiences and knowledge is the main target on this event. All Races are sailed and counted on real time without any time- correction between the different boat-sizes.
cat sale sailed aboard the OUTREMER 51’ *CURIOUS* that had been handed over to the new owner family from Ukraine, the day before. After three days and six Races, we ended up at 9th. place over all, quite happy for our family crew amongst the most ambitioned French competitors. Some even sank the anchor gear ahead of the start to lose weight and gain performance.

We enjoyed the sporting challenge and the strong competition at the OUTREMER Cup 2015. With mild temperatures and light winds of 5-25 knots, sailing was easy and offered pleasure. Aboard our OUTREMER 51 ‘ *CURIOUS* we logged a max speed of 21 knots, tacking against a true wind of 25 – 30 knots.
The excellent sailing performance of the OUTREMER fleet was demonstrated impressively. We enjoyed numerous good encounters at sea and at the yacht club bar and shall be back next year again.
cat sale currently is involved in the building of two new OUTREMER catamarans, one OUTREMER 51 and the first OUTREMER 4X performance. Both under construction to be launched in March 2016.
