Introducing the SC 55, the new flagship from Swiss Cat Yachts that redefines the standard for multihulls.

Designed by renowned designer Francois Perus, the SC 55 boasts a revolutionary design with elegant and striking lines that are not only visually appealing but also promise exceptional sailing performance. The hydrodynamically optimized hull, combined with a high performance rig, daggerboards and a light construction of only 13.9 tonnes, guarantees unparalleled sailing characteristics.

Unique in the multihull segment, the SC 55 is meticulously constructed using EPOXY/CARBON, a unique quality that differs from the more commonly used polyester resins and ensures a superior osmosis resistance. The incorporation of structural carbon elements in the vacuum infusion process underlines the premium construction of the boat, using the highest quality materials for optimum weight reduction and increased hull rigidity.

In a departure from conventional LAR keels, the SWISS 55 design introduces a variable draft from 1.25 to 2.85 meters, made possible by lowerable daggerboards. This feature increases the versatility of the boat’s performance, allowing it to handle a wide range of sailing conditions with unparalleled adaptability.

Following a meticulous production phase, the first Swiss Cat 55 is now afloat.
The new flagship of the Swiss Cat Yachts shipyard has been completed in time for the World Premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival.
