An innovative concept
Thanks to the collaboration of three passionate and internationally renowned multihull enthusiasts, Michel Joubert, Bernard Nivelt and Eric Bruneel, the most innovative NEEL trimaran designs have been developed. This exceptional smart fresh concept that offers a wide and light discus above the waves, the “floating loft” became elected “most innovative boat” in the USA in 2013. This excellent NEEL 45 trimaran design was now followed by the big sister, the NEEL 65 flagship. In 2016, the NEEL 51 Design was born. We are currently supervising the construction of the NEEL 51 N° 2 for delivery in June 2017 under German flag.
Keeping all the unique qualities
of comfort and safety for which NEEL trimarans are known, the NEEL 51 has several new design features of its own: Four double cabins included an owner’s suite and four bathrooms. The outriggers are fully accessible from inside, while the cockpit and saloon, the so-called “cockloon” share a completely open space on a single floor level. The NEEL 51 also has a comfortable flybridge for sunbathing and lounging. The first production models was launched February 2017 and the world premiere celebrated at La Grand Motte Boatshow in April 2017.
The living area
benefits from the transparency between the exterior and interior and brightness through the large panoramic windows. The sliding doors connect the saloon to the cockpit and open fully to form an open plan living space between the saloon and the cockpit and features a sociable dining area for up to 12 guests. The 16m2 cockpit offers an outdoor living experience with an exterior galley complete with grill, sink and refrigerator. The 10m2 owner’s suite on main deck level offers an uninterrupted panoramic view of the horizon direct from the bed, through the 2m wide window.
The NEEL 51 provides exceptional technical storage thanks to access to the rear storage compartments of the floats and also the huge “basement” technical zone reserved for equipment in the central hull.
The NEEL 51 has exceptionally spacious living areas with magnificent panoramic windows that bathe the interior in natural light.  The 10m² Owner’s suite is located on the main deck and boasts uninterrupted views from the bed through its two-metre panoramic windows.
The generous volumes
have been strategically designed with expansive sliding doors seamlessly integrating the saloon and cockpit’s living areas, with a beautiful alfresco dining setting to accommodate 12 guests.
The NEEL 51 boasts centralised handling and ergonomic controls, with a protected helmstation that affords outstanding visibility.  The trimaran provides an abundance of technical storage with dedicated space accessed at the rear of the floats plus an equipment storage facility in the central hull.  Integrated solar panels ensure eco-friendly operation, and the innovative transom makes boarding from land or the tender extremely safe and easy.
NEEL 51 Racing Line
The NEEL 51 is also available in the Racing Line version with three double cabins / three bathrooms layout, offering weight-saving materials including a longer carbon mast, dyneema / spectra rigging, hydranet sails, foam cored furniture and more.
